About Me

Creator of ERNE · Head of Mobile at Ekimo

With over 15 years in IT, I transitioned to mobile development in 2020 and haven't looked back. I lead the mobile team at Ekimo Tech and build open-source tools for the React Native ecosystem.

My journey started in IT management, where I spent years leading infrastructure and technology strategy. In 2020, I made a deliberate pivot to mobile development — and it changed everything. React Native clicked immediately: the declarative model, the cross-platform reach, and the tight JavaScript ecosystem made it feel like home.

Today I lead the mobile team at Ekimo Tech, overseeing the full lifecycle of production apps across transport, e-commerce, healthcare, and finance. Outside of client work, I build open-source tooling for the React Native ecosystem — most notably ERNE, an AI coding agent harness that gives tools like Claude Code deep knowledge of React Native best practices.

I'm based in Tbilisi, Georgia. When I'm not shipping code, I'm thinking about developer experience, AI-augmented workflows, and how to make mobile development more approachable for teams everywhere.
